Partial renovation of the hotel and transformation of the attic apartment
As part of the renovation of a hotel building in Saas-Fee (Switzerland), the first phase of the intervention included the complete transformation of the attic flat for the owners, as well as the partial redecoration of the bedrooms, the dining room, the living room with private bathroom, and the creation of an office / co-working space.
All this has been achieved in a record time of just 12 weeks .... Demolition, reconstruction, orders, sanitary appliances and furniture, construction of the customised layout, including the purchase of decoration and all necessary equipment, accessories and goods.
The demonstration that the impossible becomes possible with teamwork and everyone believing in it!
If for the bedrooms and common areas the objective was to limit the intervention to a re-decoration, in order to bring a bit of freshness and modernity (paint, textiles, accessories, lighting,...), for the attic apartment and the private rooms for the owner 's family, the objective was quite clear and much more ambitious: as far as possible, to bring to Saas-Fee a bit of the spirit of Japanese Ryokans in a modern version (from the layout of the bathrooms to the choice of natural materials for all finishing, all combined with functionality and simplicity).
